The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is a national umbrella organisation supporting the voluntary and community sector. In terms of its facilitation role, NCVO provides a wide range of services including: publications, events, and funding information. It also publishes a monthly magazine ‘Voluntary Sector’ (VS) which is available via subscription. NCVO also plays a lead role on the national agenda. For example, it undertakes key research, supports campaigns and acts as policy champion for voluntary & community sector issues.
